Amazon Prime members can see Aquaman a week early at participating cinemas

Amazon Prime members will be able to watch Aquaman in cinemas up to six days before its official release in the US. Each subscriber will be able to purchase up to 10 tickets for a 7pm showing on December 15th, just under a week before the film officially opens on December 21st.

The promotion continues Amazon’s historically amicable relationship with cinemas, which sits in contrast to its rival Netflix. As well as previous partnerships that have seen early screenings of 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Hotel Transylvania 3, Amazon has also tended to release its original movies in cinemas before bringing them to its streaming service.
